AHDA is pleased to announce that the next AHDA Conference will once again be held at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel at the NEC. Following the highly successful event in January 2024 we are looking forward to seeing friends, both old and new, next January.
The exhibition hall will once again be packed with 50 Exhibitor stands, featuring some of the leading animal health companies, along with the VMD, AMTRA, COWS and SCOPS.
The 40th Anniversary AHDA Conference will be held on 27th and 28th January 2025 at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel.
This venue is an excellent fit for our event, offering ample space for exhibitors, dedicated speaker rooms, a Gala Dinner venue and comfortable delegate accommodation, all located in one place.
Just because the event is in the same location, it doesn’t mean that everything will remain the same. This year’s programme will introduce new elements aimed at creating a more relaxed and inclusive experience for all attendees. It is also the 40th anniversary for AHDA so we are looking to make the 2025 AHDA Conference a celebration and recognition of everything that has been achieved over the past 40 years.
Following the 2024 Conference, we gathered feedback from both delegates and exhibitors. Based on this input, we are making updates to the 2025 programme. While the event will still focus on speaker presentations that provide valuable input for delegates, we are also extending the time available in the exhibition hall, ensuring more opportunities for networking and engagement with exhibitors.
On the first day of the event, we have decided to move away from the workshop format and instead invite key industry speakers to provide insights into the current state of the animal health and welfare industry. They will also offer forward-looking perspective on what the coming years may hold for various species sectors. Additionally, we will extend the time available for networking in the exhibitor hall.
On the second day, as usual, there will be an increased focus for SQP’s, with a programme offering both engaging and relevant presentations, all eligible for CPD points. For the farm animal presentations, some will include compulsory CPD points. Several early presentations will follow the standard format, with speakers presenting in designated rooms and delegates logging in and out to ensure their CPD points are properly registered.
At the first break of the day, delegates will have the opportunity to spend extended time in the exhibition hall, allowing for networking and discussions with the wide range of exhibitors that will be in attendance. The great news is that time spent in the exhibition hall qualifies for CPD through the AMTRA initiative, under the self-reflection category, further enhancing the value of these interactions.
